Investigating what is true and what is false, order and disorder, right and wrong …
Registration is open until October 4 for the “Remote Future” Camp 2024, a community of curious young men and women (aged 15-19) who wish to learn more about the beauty and richness of scientific research. This unique experiential opportunity, which will be held from October 16 to December 6, will allow participants to meet and speak to protagonists of national and international research, acquiring knowledge and soft skills, as well as creating new bonds and developing civic activism.
This year the camp will focus on Co-Science. “Investigating what is true and what is false, order and disorder, right and wrong … The “Remote Future” Camp will organise over 400 events allowing participants to experiment with science and its impact on quality of life, environment, and social well-being through all fields of knowledge and reflecting on the concepts of responsibility, discernment, understanding, and ethics. The relation between science and society is fundamental and is now necessary to face the major challenges before us.”
Programme activities:
- Laboratories
- Escape Room
- Scientific “Speed Dating”
- Science Show
- Social Events and Happy Hour.
There will also be a workshop organised in collaboration with Project JOINclusion.
Participants, who will be helped by tutors from the Città della Scienza, will be able to choose if to participate in all regional events of “Remote Future” 2024 or just one or a few.
On September 26, there will be an on-line informational meeting on the Teams Platform (18:30) to present the programme objectives and activities for those interested in applying or learning more about the initiative.
