Yesterday, Project Meet no Neet organized a videoconference with the IIS G. Salvemini School in Alessano (Lecce); tomorrow, it’s the turn of the Liceo Labriola in Rome. Educational courses are in full swing and testing new means of communication.

Ana Lain, who coordinates the school network participating in Meet no Neet, part of the global Microsoft YouthSpark Programme, held a videoconference yesterday with students at IIS G. Salvemini in Alessano. The virtual classroom hosted 25 students from various classes coordinated by Computer Science Teacher Salvatore Mancarella.

The students first worked on resolving problems, both individually and in teams, using a tool provided on-line by the Survey Monkey platform. Then, they practiced their pitches to verify the efficiency of their project ideas. Students are also working on the development of a learning platform under the supervision of their teacher.

Tomorrow, the Liceo Antonio Labriola in Rome will meet with the DotNetCode.it Community, a group of professionals who share and divulge programming techniques for the Microsoft.NET platform. The students will attend the sixth and last module of the course dedicated to Developing Hybrid Applications for Mobile Devices, Part 3 [see news: CV Soft Skills].

The project will also provide the perfect opportunity to involve students in the eSkills for Jobs Campaign, launched by the European commission to promote the qualitative and quantitative growth of employment.
