How does a digital literacy project for the elderly fit into the curriculum of a school that is already active in many areas?
In this phone interview with Cecilia Stajano, Prof. Ennio Zoppi explains the experience of the Istituto superiore Silvio D’Arzo in Montecchio (Province of Reggio Emilia).
A short 15-hour course was tested this year with 8 digital tutors helping 15 over-sixties that enrolled. The elders were contacted directly by the Comune di Montecchio and attended the lessons at the municipal library under the guidance of volunteer Luciana Di Nisio.
L’Istituto D’Arzo è una delle 18 scuole che quest’anno ha aderito al progetto Pane e Internet per Nonni e Nipoti promosso dalla Regione Emilia Romagna.
