Over 100 events will be organized in Italy in collaboration with the Politecnico di Bari, the Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II, the Università degli Studi Suor Orsola Benincasa di Napoli and the Università di Cagliari. The free events will focus on STEM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), including workshops, round tables, the Pink Hackathon, networking and meetings with companies.

Moreover, each city will host a Jobs&Careers event, a new initiative by Pink Cloud on Tour that aims to provide the young women who participate in the courses with a direct channel to companies offering real work opportunities.

"In 97 countries, women are the majority of university students. However, women are the majority of leaders in only four counties, and Italy is not one of these. The Fondazione Mondo Digitale works to promote equal opportunities in the scientific and technological sectors and to advance the role of women on the job market,” explains Mirta Michilli, Director General of the Fondazione Mondo Digitale, one of the initiative partners. “We believe in the key role played by school and environment. Just one month ago, we brought the experience of three female geniuses of robotics to Rome. They built their success on STEM subjects.”
