After the two hackathons held in Rome and Milan, Project 5G4School, promoted with the Fondazione Lars Magnus Ericcson, continues with the Phyrtual Factory Accelerator for Youth.

 

The new phase starts tomorrow in Milan with a two-day training session for the four teams - CheapTech, 11231Corp, Domus and Nameless, selected at the March 4 hackathon [see news: 5GSchool Winners]. The first day of work will be directed by Alfonso Molina, Scientific Director of the Fondazione Mondo Digitale and creator of the Phyrtual Factory Model. On Day Two, the students will work with Francesco Ehrenheim and Ilaria Potito [see agenda].

 

 

The four teams selected at the Roman hackathon at IIS Croce-Aleramo are also involved in the accelerator phase [see news: Selection for Four More Teams].

 

 

  • Team Di Nuzzo's is composed by Riccardo, Gabriele, Simone, Francesco, and Luca.
    Project Smartsensors
    Speed and efficiency for emergency services. The use of a wide range of sensors can shorten emergency response times, monitor vital body activities and immediately provide information on the state of the patient to emergency services. Intelligent traffic lights connected to emergency vehicles will allow a better flow of traffic for emergency services.
  • Team SmartHelp is composed by Aurora, Marco, Leonardo, Gianmarco, Andrea and Jasmine.
    Project SmartHelp
    This is a solution for monitoring individual’s state of mind and improving their conditions through the use of a bracelet, an app and a video camera.
  • Team Vent'occhi is composed by Elisabetta, Elisa, Gabriele, Gabriele and Matteo.
    Project Casco 5G
    Thanks to 5G technology, helmets are able to provide information on the route to one’s destination, alert drivers exceeding the speed limit, avoid accidents and provide information via GPS.
  • Team Akea is composed by Anna, Alessio, Elisa, Anna and Kate.
    Project Memoria PRO
    This is a reminder conceived for individuals suffering from diseases such as Alzheimer’s but can also be used by anyone else. The tool provides access to a large information archive that can be instantaneously accessed thanks to 5G technology.
