A course to learn how artificial intelligence is driving transformation

What will the impact of GenAI b on work transformation? Will it only concern the more technological professions? According to a recent study developed by Accenture, GenAI’s influence will spread beyond the strictly technical sphere and, on average, impact 40% on working hours in all sectors.

The Accenture Pulse of Change: 2024 Index, presented at the Davos Forum, ranks six factors of company change4- technology, talent, economy, geopolitics, climate, consumers, and society – based on a series of indicators such as work productivity and IT expenses. According to the study, the rate of change for companies in the six studied areas has increased constantly since 2019 and, in the last four years, has increased by 183% (33% in the last year alone).

“88% of the sample expects even more rapid transformations in 2024,” explains Jean-Marc Ollagnier, CEO Europe, Accenture. “Driven by the progress of GenAI, technology was the most transformative factor for companies in 2023. Moreover, its influence spreads beyond the strictly technological spere, impacting, on average, 40% on the working hours in all sectors. It is therefore essential for leaders to train their staff about GenAI with the same attention they pay to technology,” added Ollagnier.
