Project IoT at the Phyrtual Innovation Gym is coming to its conclusion. The project has involved high school students in experiential labs for the acquisition of competences and knowledge that will be useful to explore professional opportunities in an interconnected world and move confidently on the labour market.
After the day dedicated to project conception, yesterday, today it’s time to prototype the best project ideas thanks to the digital manufacturing devices at the Phyrtual Innovation Gym [see news: IoT Prototyping].
The jury selected the following project ideas:
- Mancini 2, Smart Green House
A smart greenhouse that automatically waters plants based on internal and environmental data. - Garibaldi 5, Self-sufficient Vertical Garden
Vegetable garden for fresh produce; self-managed by Arduino sensors. - Primo Levi 3, Levis Machine
Device to remove waste, especially plastics, from the seabed. - Mancini 4, R.R.A
Application that compares sensor-collected data in culture databases. - Leonardo, Istick
Walking stick for visually-impaired individuals that increases independence in urban areas.
