Next week’s schedule (Sept. 23-29) includes local labs, national programmes, and European and international meetings.

 

A Chilean Government Delegation is in Rome to learn more about the integration model in Italian schools and the activities held at the Phyrtaul Innovation Gym. On Friday, September 27, the delegation will participate in the Disabuse International Conference moderated by Journalist Stefano Trasatti. The conference will be held in the Via del Quadraro facilities [see agenda].

 

A delegation of over-60s  are in Portugal to present blended mobility to Project Inclusive Senior Education through Virtual U3A (ISEV) [See news:  Lisbon Training].

 

In the afternoon, throughout the week, 24 children at the Rodari Primary School in Formello will be involved in coding activities with Google CS First and Scratch, as well as robotics with various types of kits (Lego We Do, Beebot and Ozobot).  

 

Teacher-training courses continue with Project CS First: on Wednesday, Sept. 25 at IIS Marconi in Palermo with Coach Marco Brocchieri and on Friday, Sept. 27 at the Istituto comprensivo di San Fior, in Treviso, with Mirko Labbri.

 

Interactive training sessions have also begun again for Project Living Digital. On Wednesday, Coach Giusi Messina will be at IIS Catalano in Palermo, while a session dedicated to women will be held on Saturday in Bari [see news: Women Like Us].

 

She Means Business for women in enterprise will be in Salerno at the “Palazzo Innovazione” with Coach Rossella Di Palma on Friday [see agenda].

 

Also for women, there will be WWWomen! With Nicoletta Vulpetti for Programme Vagone FMD at Binario F in Rome. The first of four appointments will be held on Friday (2:30 – 6:00 pm) with a special session of StorySchool with Livia Iacolare, Strategic Media Partnerships at Facebook [see agenda].

 

On Saturday, the Istituto Comprensivo Piazza Winckelmann in Rome will host activities for Project "The Future is Now 2," one of the winning projects of the "Learn STEM in the Summer" Call promoted by the Department for Equal Opportunities.

 

As usual, over the weekend, the digital manufacturing lab (Fab Lab) at the Phyrtual Innovation Gym is open to the maker community: Saturday-Sunday from 3:30 to 8:30 pm.
