At the Middle School in Arosio (Como), over- sixty students attending the course coordinated by Prof. Alessandro Giordano, developed an Excel file to teach their peers how to use this programme.
 
At the event held for students in Villa Balestrini (Como), the students from the Middle School in di Villaguardia, coordinated by Prof. Fiorella Mionti, showed the elders basic computer functions and introduced them to the Regional Service Charter.
 
Project "Grandparents on the Internet in Como" is promoted by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale in collaboration with the Province of Como, the Como Chamber of Commerce and the Comom Provincial School Department.
 
In the Province of Varese, the tutors at the Istituto "F. Cavallotti" in Cassano Magnago (VA), coordinated by teachers Natale Vito and Luigi Suriano, are helping a large number of elderly students to learn about all things digital and have provided them with an open drive containing all the lesson materials and exercises, as well as inserting them on the Edmodo E-learning platform so that they can continue studying from home.
 
Moreover, the “Together We Can” Seminar organized by the Volunteer Association in Varese described the “Grandparents on the Internet” Project promoted by the FMD and presented by Prof. Luca Piergiovanni, as one of the most innovative volunteering projects in the province.
