The FMD has embarked on a new project with the Southlands International School that holds courses in English for kindergarten, grade school and high school.
During the lessons held by Ms. Connolly, students aged 11-14 will learn to create a smartphone app with MIT App Inventor, a web application developed by Google and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Valeria Cristino, FMD Coach, will hold on-line courses for both the students on the campus and those studying from home. The objective is to produce an app by the end of the trimester, as an original Christmas gift.
