New strategies for SciCo+

Fifth transnational meeting in Bucharest

The SciCo+ project continues its journey of innovation in science communication with its fifth transnational meeting, hosted by the Politehnica University of Bucharest. The meeting brought the partners together to take stock of progress made and define future strategies, with the aim of making science communication increasingly effective through innovative digital tools.

A collaborative journey to innovate science communication

SciCo+ is not just a project, but a shared journey that aims to provide concrete tools to educators, researchers and science communication professionals. During the meeting, the focus was on optimising the e-learning platform, to enrich the training offer and improve the accessibility of content to an ever wider audience.

Key topics addressed included:

  • Expansion of courses. New content to meet the specific needs of those involved in scientific dissemination, with constant updates and increasingly relevant materials.
  • Improved user experience. Enhancing the navigability and interactivity of the platform for more engaging and effective learning.
  • International synergy. The exchange of ideas between partners from different countries has enriched the project with innovative approaches and strengthened a network of expertise at a European level.

Practical training for effective science communication
The SciCo+ courses are designed for teachers, researchers and staff at museums and science centres, providing practical tools to transform complex concepts into clear, engaging messages suitable for all audiences. From storytelling on social media to the design of communication strategies, to the use of digital technologies such as Arduino and IoT, participants acquire skills to make science more accessible and fascinating.
