New Educational Agreement

The Fondazione Mondo Digitale has signed a new agreement with the Basilicata Region Chamber of Commerce to provide citizens with a prestigious and varied series of content for those seeking employment, professional requalification and digital skills, even concerning strategic technology for digital transformation.

The agreement, which is part of a wider strategy to develop an ecosystem of alliances to face the challenges of unemployment and professional requalification, aims to make the local educational community more inclusive and present.

The activity, as is explained in a note by the agency, consists of free orientation courses as part of Project Ambizione Italia for Youth, a strategic initiative developed with Microsoft to intercept students, youth in general and all citizens who need to integrate and extend their competences, and explore new professional areas to find a place on the job market.

“This agreement allows us to extend and strategize our series of services for the orientation and education of our citizens,” explains the Basilicata Chamber of Commerce President Michele Somma, “in a period in which specific competences are required to access the job market and ongoing transformations.”

Mirta Michilli, Director General of the Fondazione Mondo Digitale, believes that “the challenge is to allow the greatest number of workers and citizens to participate in digital transformation, so that each may provide a contribution, progressively increasing their baggage of knowledge and skills.”
