The first day of the mini-course dedicated to “Digital Transformation in Public Health” (three intensive session held between Dec. 2018 and Feb. 2019) will provide 24 professionals selected by SITI, with a taste of how cutting-edge technological developments, such as big data and the Internet of Things, can provide a better understanding of epidemiological scenarios (i.e., by improving current predictive models), optimise screening databases and improve preventive actions for public health. The issue of adult vaccinations will be addressed through mini scientific talks and concrete cases [see news: Public Health].
