The first edition of the Media Art Festival (Rome, Feb. 25 – March 1) ends with an open event on Free Museum Sunday, an initiative implemented by the Franceschini Bill that started in July 2014. The bill established that every first Sunday of the month all museums, galleries, archeological exhibitions, parks and monumental gardens are free.
The Fondazione Mondo Digitale invites you to spend the day at the Centrale Montemartini Museum on Via Ostiense 106 and discover la media art. From 9 am to 3 pm, the artistic director of the event, and the authors of the works will provide a guided tour to help visitors discover more about arts and technology.
The exhibition includes works created by students of schools in Rome with artists Giacomo Lion and Lino Strangis: new art forms that bring visitors directly into contact with the works.
