Programme Living Digital first kicked off in Lazio and then quickly reached Abruzzo, Molise and Campania. Today, it arrives in Puglia. The appointment is at IIS Pacinotti-Fermi in Taranto from 2:30 to 6:30 pm. The three modules on Web Presence, Cyber Security and Innovation will involve about 40 students from years four and five. Prof. Gaetano Manzulli, Coordinator of the Computer Science Department, will coach the students.
In the meantime, courses are also being held elsewhere. Coach Lara Forgione will be holding a workshop at IIS Piaget-Diaz in Rome [see news: Ongoing Labs].
"It’s simple, intuitive, interactive and fun." This i show students at the Rome Istituto Enzo Ferrari describe their experience with Programme Living Digital. Guided by Coach Mohamed Fadiga, they learned how to solve problems, propose solutions and develop prototypes.
Through the collaboration with the Fondazione Mondo Digitale and other Italian partners, Project “Digital Living” will provide students with the opportunity to improve their competences and acquire the mentality necessary to fully exploit the new forms of digital economy. In 2018-19, the Living Digital Tour will travel to the main Italian cities and train over 6000 young men and women in the last two years of second-degree secondary school.
The programme will also use group games, videos, on-line platforms and apps to allow students to learn interactively and continue to practice both at home and in their free time. At the end of the training period, each participant will receive a certification of his/her new competences profile.
