On-line Shopping

Our virtual adventure continues amongst the schools participating in the special edition of Safer Internet Day, promoted by Microsoft and the Fondazione Mondo Digitale in collaboration with the Italian Postal Police to [see new Safer Internet Day 2016]. Today, we travel to IIS Franchetti-Salviani in Città di Castello (Perugia), where the students have chosen to work on e-shopping, a sector that is rapidly expanding worldwide.

The students created a presentation that presents 8 main points to safely shop on-line:

  • Preferably use certified or official websites
  • An Internet website should represent a true shop
  • Always read the comments and feedback left by other users
  • Use official shop apps on your smartphones and tablets
  • Use rechargeable credit cards
  • Use updated software and browsers
  • Use safe payment methods
  • Insure your purchases and use traceable packages
