The Roma Lego Education Innovation Studio has just ended its first year of activities, but consultants and experts are already hard at work to increase the number of workshops. The aim is not only to make it more attractive to young people, but also – thanks to the skills acquired through educational robotics - to use it as a strategic tool to reduce the mismatch between the labour market and the skills of young job searchers.
During its first year, the Robotics Centre ran four types of laboratories based on the age of the aspiring designers. In the video, Mohamed Haiba, the young engineer who runs the laboratories, presents the four Lego kits (Ape Robot, WeDo, NXT and Renewable Energy) used in the laboratories and explains their didactic applications.
