Including the labs in the digital environments at the Phyrtual Innovation Gym, hackathons and workshop, over forty different activities will be held this week in 13 cities as part of the following projects: +WE - Wurth Experience, 5G4School, #Here, Creative Aides (Creative Aides), Ambizione Italia for Schools, DisAbuse, Development Training, Holomakers, ISEV, RomeCup, Share School, Vagone FMD, Living Digital.
European Project DisAbuse will be testing the Lego Serious Play Method on and with individuals with special needs. The Fab Lab will host the students from LUMSA, who will be developing “Creative Aides.” These are the same students who participated in "Problem-solving in Didactics" Lab (Master’s Degree in Educational Sciences) held by Professor Fabrizio Corradi, a techno-psychologist at the Istituto Leonarda Vaccari.
New projects include a collaboration with Lazio Innova, which has organised the first appointment at the Spazio Attivo Casilina, today, for a workshop with Argentinean stylist Jessica Pullo, winner of the Fashion Digital Night [see news: Fashion Tech is Green].
In the meantime, hubs are turning operational in various schools for Programme Ambizione Italia for Schools, promoted by Microsoft and courses will be held on the application of artificial intelligence in Aversa, Civitavecchia, Genoa, Naples, Rome and Sulmona.
Preparations for RomeCup are also underway in the Phyrtual Innovation Gym Robotics Centre for the TirBot Contest [see news: Smart Trucks].
This week’s public events include tomorrow’s appointment with "Scegliamo di contare" (Choosing to Count) promoted by the “Roma Semplice” Councillorship for International Women’s Day as part of Pink Digital Week. Giorgia di Tommaso, a PhD student in Computer Science, will participate on behalf of the Fondazione Mondo Digitale and present her experience working as a coach for STEAM Programmes.
Next Friday, March 8, for International Women’s Day, labs for women will be held at the Microsoft House and at Phyrtual Innovation Gym.
