WOMEN IN TRAINING
DATA
Only 33 per cent of Sicilian women in education and training have started an entrepreneurial activity. The main sector is tourism. Our youngest participant is a twenty-one-year-old girl looking for a job; the eldest, forty-four years older, an entrepreneur aged 69. Eighteen per cent of women do not work, while employed women include, not only employees, but also factory workers, teachers, professors and managers. Less than 10 % are still studying.
