Job Digital Lab a Pescara

Job Digital Lab in Pescara

Job Digital Lab a Pescara

Job Digital Lab a Pescara

February 15: second local event on AI, marketing and social media

Digital transformation is here, and we all need new skills and have new responsibilities. Project Job Digital Lab, an educational programme developed with ING Italia to develop and reinforce digital skills, aims to provide an answer to the needs of individuals and communities that require new resources and innovative tools for the sustainable growth of both individuals and the community.

On February 15, the programme will hold a session in Pescara, in collaboration with the Chieti Pescara Chamber of Commerce, after its session held in Catania in December 2021.

The Pescara session will focus on new digital trends – artificial intelligence, marketing and social media – to provide participants with an overview of the opportunities provided by new technology and to dissipate fears on what may seem far removed from our everyday experiences. Indeed, we are called to “hybridize.” We must be able to move amongst two dimensions – physical and digital – integrating them into a third dimension including useful technology enabling the potential of people. We must also, however, be able to manage these tools creatively. While opening a social media profile is easy, creating content that adds value to a project or entrepreneurial activity is different.

With Job Digital Lab, the Fondazione Mondo Digitale and ING Italia introduce participants to the conscientious use of technology so that the web will provide an innovative and significant experience.

Besides the theoretical part held by FMD coaches, practical local case studies and success cases will be presented as a model and inspiration in developing one’s own professional objectives.

Participating is simple and free.

The Pescara event is one of the appointments of the second edition of the programme which has reached 5000 individuals throughout Italy thanks to 60 sessions and over 90 hours of on-line training in 2021. This year, the local tour includes even more ambitious objectives: uniting local and social networks to reach an even wider audience, especially amongst the most fragile categories that wish to get back in action, such as women who have lost their jobs due to the pandemic, NEETs, over-50s and anyone who wishes to reinforce their digital skills for professional requalification.

“Job Digital Lab was conceived in 2020 and is integrated in ING’s global objectives to create an inclusive economy for over 3 million people by 2025. We have always been a digital bank and believe in the potential of digital tools. This all-Italian project allows us to bank on education and the development of futureproof skills that are fundamental both for our personal and professional lives. Local strengths and the skills that the Fondazione Mondo Digitale will provide can become a winning card for growth and new opportunities.” - Silvia Colombo, Head of External Communication, Public Affairs & CSR, ING.

“Job Digital Lab is a project that the Fondazione Mondo Digitale implements in Italy, thanks to the contribution of ING Italia, to reinforce the digital and entrepreneurial skills of those who wish to have a better chance on the job market. Our objective is to make it accessible to everyone through lifelong learning, great challenges and the opportunities set into action by digital transformation. Our daily activities aim to reach even the most fragile individuals, those who are at greatest risk in a period of crisis and provide them with the skills to stay abreast of a future that is already upon us.” - Mirta Michilli, Director General, Fondazione Mondo Digitale.
