The first objective is to promote the use of new technologies by the weakest population groups and the development of SMEs. Fundetec and the Fondazione Mondo Digitale are both the result of a public-private partnership. The Memorandum of Understanding was perfected thanks to the commitment of a common partner: Intel.
The agreement will start with work focusing on the elderly and volunteers. The collaboration will be able to immediately exploit Phyrtual.org, the virtual learning environment that the Fondazione Mondo Digitale is currently building. Research, knowledge and shared objectives are the basis for developing an inclusive knowledge society for citizens, institutions and enterprises.
