The new virtual “School of Internet for Everyone” courses begin today with over 400 registered citizens who will learn how to collaborate with digital tools. And 70% of them are women. All age groups are represented with a predominance of over-65s (26%), followed by adults aged 55-64 (20%). Over 32% of participants has a high school diploma, while 26% has a university degree; 9% only attended grade school.
Last Friday, the School of Internet for Everyone, the project promoted by TIM in collaboration with the Fondazione Mondo Digitale as part of the national Operation Digital Risorgimento Programme, was presented in the Province of Teramo, which is driving the digital transformation of its administration. As of March, in fact, all procedures for provincial authorisations and payments will be completed on-line, even remotely from smartphones.
