As a partner of European Project ACTing, FMD has organized for tomorrow – Friday, November 28 – a workshop to officially kick off the innovative actions of social agents and over-sixties involved in the project.

The meeting is open to the public and to all those interested in active ageing and the social and digital inclusion of elders. The workshop will present project objectives, activities, expected results and the e-learning platform integrated on the www.acting4elderly.eu website.

The platform hosts a full course (including content, tools and experiences) to help social agents develop innovative actions together with the community of elders.

ACTing social actions will be based on the needs of elders and range from intergenerational activities and social participation to active ageing, the use of tools and gadgets and more.

In June 2015, all the participating countries will select the best innovative practices at the national level. These eight finalists, two from each country, will participate for the final award that will be announced at the International Competition in Geneva, Switzerland in September 2015.
