Let’s speak about Project “Immigrant World – New Local Sensors.” The project, presented today in L’Aquila, will install three permanent and one mobile information points to meet immigrants and citizens in the Aquila and Marsica areas. In fact, immigrants, who represent ca. 15% of the resident population (with peaks of 24%), are mainly Romanians, Macedonians and Moroccans.
In order to simplify access to these services, a multi-lingual brochure has been printed and a website developed (www.mondoimmigrato.it).
Mirta Michilli, Director General, Fondazione Mondo Digitale.
The information points have been opened in S.Demetrio nei Vestini, Avezzano and Secinaro. Listen to Maria Assunta Rosa, Deputy Prefect of the Department of Civil Liberties, Ministry of the Interior.
