The 10th edition of "I Am There " will involve the educational communities of 5 major cities along with over 200 participants and over 30 partners.
On June 20 for World Refugee Day, the event promoted by the General Assembly of the United Nations, the Fondazione Mondo Digitale will organize the annual solidarity football match to promote integration and hospitality in five cities: Milan, Rome, Bari, Reggio Calabria and Palermo. Immigrant reception centres will play with students, volunteers and third sector associations.
This year’s event will also involve the network of Project OpenSpace, selected by Con i Bambini as part of the Fund to contrast the educational poverty of minors.
Matches will also be held in suburban areas of large Italian cities, characterised by multiethnicity and educational emergencies to emphasise the shared message of solidarity and participation.
