Ambizione Italia for Cybersecurity: a course for professionals

In 2022, data was compromised in nine out of ten companies. According to recent analyses, the damage caused by digital criminality is equivalent to the greatest transfer of wealth in history with an average estimated cost of 3.61 million dollars for every attack and an average 287 days to identify and contain the damage done. What are the reasons for this dramatic growth? Increasingly complex IT infrastructure makes companies more and more difficult to protect. In fact, IT security has not knowledge of 30-40% of the critical points exposed by external attacks. Moreover, increasingly sophisticated services like IoT, public cloud services, and APIs (application programming interface), and outsourcing create further opportunities for attack.

In order to increase the professional skills of those involved in the complex process of data protection, Programme Ambizione Italia for Cybersecurity is introducing a new course dedicated to professionals that will be held by Gaia Guadagnoli, Privacy, Data Protection & Security Technology Specialist at Microsoft Italy.
