How to Print in 3D

The first lesson of the 3D Design and Print course begins tomorrow at the Phyrtual Innovation Gym Fab Lab (7 pm at via del Quadraro 102 in the Tuscolano neighbourhood).

The course on rapid prototyping, which will be divided into eight two-hour sessions, 7-9 pm), will be held by Maker Ferdinando Miraglia.

Would you like to enter the fantastic world of rapid prototyping? The 3D Design and Print Course will illustrate the basics of solid modelling via Tinkercad. You will learn to use the most popular slicing software to generate g-code, such as Slic3r and Cura, and learn about the main tools used to manage Cartesian-type extrusion 3D printers such as Repetier-Host and Pronterface/Printrun. The lessons will include practical demonstrations with a 3D printer and instruction on how to use the most widespread control panel for 3D printers based on the Marlin firmware.
