On September 20-21, Daniele Manni, Professor of Computer Science at the Galilei-Costa School in Lecce, will be in Aveiro (Portugal), together with 11 other finalists, to present his story and experience teaching entrepreneurship to young men and women to the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Teaching Excellence Awards Commission. He is the only Italian professor amongst the twelve finalists.
"I have been receiving many messages from my students who are demonstrating their affection and encouragement. It is fantastic to feel their affection. It fills me with thankfulness when I read messages like “He’s Our Professor!” on social networks,” explains Daniele Manni to Reporter Biagio Simonetta, who wrote the article on the innovation award for economic daily Il Sole 24 Ore.
We are happy to join in with the students’ chorus of praise. We, too, would like to say, “He’s Our Professor!” Daniele Manni, in fact, received a mention for his stories on innovation and inclusion – the Special Tullio De Mauro Award – at the last edition of the Global Junior Challenge International Competition [see news: Awards and Mentions].
