The value of Microsoft cybersecurity certifications in Martina’s education.
Thanks to the collaboration between the Campus Bio-Medico University of Rome and the Fondazione Mondo Digitale as part of project Ambizione Italia for Cybersecurity [see news: Certifying Skills], students can obtain Microsoft cybersecurity certifications.
Martina Fonte, 23, a biomedical engineering student, did not let the opportunity slip away. “As I got closer to this topic, I realized that I was curious and wanted to learn more about it. My professor gave me the opportunity to get in touch with the Microsoft team who kindly gave us the opportunity to obtain a certification by giving us a voucher. I jumped at the opportunity and studied to take the exam as soon as possible and I'm happy to have been able to be part of a Microsoft course. This experience enriched me,” says Martina.
Among the various aspects of the course that Martina most appreciated was the "schematic clarity" that guided her in consulting the didactic material. “The preview in terms of content, but above all of the estimated time to address each individual topic, literally guided me in serenely dividing the study load.”
Martina defines herself as “fascinated by cybersecurity” and would like to continue her studies by further focusing on this discipline, “also because it is in great demand, especially in the medical field given that we are dealing with sensitive data,” she explains. “Everything learned will certainly provide valuable added value.”
“I would like to continue training in the field of cybersecurity,” continues Martina. “I will proceed with further certifications and courses offered by my university.”
