Last week, the Grandparents on the Internet courses held at Post Offices and promoted by Poste Italiane kicked off in six pilot cities: Ascoli, Asti, Mantua, Naples, Palermo and Rome.

Grandparents on the Internet at the Post Office was developed to help elders learn more about how to use the web and modern communication technology. Poste Italiane, the Italian Postal Service, opted for the Grandparent on the Internet Model designed by Fondazione Mondo Digitale to promote the digital literacy pilot project in post offices around the country [see news: "Grandparents at Post Offices"].
