In collaboration with Erickson, the Fondazione Mondo Digitale is promoting a major mobilisation of schools, teachers, school administrators, students, organisations and citizens, to promote the education and inclusion of every citizen and a new style of school and social innovation.
Registration is now open for the new edition of the Global Junior Challenge, the competition addressing organisations that have developed a project that uses technology in an innovative manner to provide a fair and inclusive quality education, and learning opportunities for all (Objective 4 of the Agenda 2030 for Sustainable Development). The Tullio De Mauro Award is presented to schools that innovate and include, especially teachers and school administrators.
Promoted by the City of Rome and organised every two years by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale, since 2017 the GJC is dedicated to Tullio De Mauro (Torre Annunziata 1932 - Rome 2017), linguist, professor emeritus and scholar of international education systems.
