GJC Final Event

GJC Final Event

We invite everyone to participate in the final event of the tenth edition of the Global Junior Challenge, the competition that recognises the most innovative projects that employ new technology for education and youth training. The 2021 edition, promoted in collaboration with the Erickson Publishing House, is dedicated to the innovative and inclusive use of new technology for high-quality education during the Covid-19 emergency.

Promoted by the City of Rome and organised every two years by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale, since 2017, the GJC is dedicated to the memory of Tullio De Mauro (Torre Annunziata 1932 - Rome 2017), linguist, professor emeritus and scholar of international educational systems.

The final event will be held on December 15-17 in hybrid mode: in presence at the Rome Città Educativa and the Campidoglio and on-line with live streaming on various social channels. The first two days will involve various meetings amongst educational experts and the educational community to promote the strategic role of school administrators, teachers, students and parents as agents of change and inclusive development for Italian schools. The Awards Ceremony will be held on Day 3 at the Rome Campidoglio (Aula Giulio Cesare).
