The Rome Istituto comprensivo "Piazza Winckelmann," directed by Nicoletta Grandonico, is hosting the second edition of Project The Future is Now 2, amongst winners of the second edition of the "Learn STEM in the Summer" Call promoted by the Department for Equal Opportunities
26 students, aged 9 to 12, have already participated in coding and robotics labs. Now, for two weekends on Saturday morning, they will meet at the Phyrtual Innovation Gym Fab Lab (9 am – 1 pm) to learn about digital manufacturing devices with the help of Matteo Viscogliosi, designer, maker and Fab Lab Coordinator.
The project will end with a final event on Saturday, October 20, where students will be able to showcase and share their experiences with friends, classmates and families, as well as the Fondazione Mondo Digitale.
