Our courses and the new guidelines for teaching civic education.
The school year kicks off with the new Guidelines for Teaching Civic Education, based on the vision of a “constitutional” school that will inspire citizenship education. The updated version of the guidelines includes new content, such as the central nature of individuals, Italian and European identity, the culture of duty, business culture as self-determination, contrasting all forms of illegality and criminality, sustainable growth, respecting and promoting cultural heritage, promoting health, road safety, a culture of respect towards women, financial education, work culture, and an ethical use of digital technology.
The guidelines are based on the principle of the transversal nature of civic education and enticing and experiential learning methodologies. These issues and methodological approaches are a fundamental part of all our projects, as experienced by the teachers who participated in the webinar to present our new course catalogue on Tuesday.
We share the two webinars with our scholastic community and invite you to contact Eleonora Curatola for any further information.
