The story of Rosanna Ventrella Grimaldi on the Job Digital Lab blog

‘If you believe it, it's true.’ These words, spoken by an eight-year-old girl, were the spark that allowed Rosanna Ventrella Grimaldi to turn a deep crisis into an extraordinary opportunity. We share a new story published on the Job Digital Lab blog, with the narrative gaze of Nicoletta Vulpetti, who has always been passionate about stories of identity and change.

The life of Rosanna, sole director of Sys-Tek srl and president of CNA Torino, is a hymn to ‘continuous change’. After facing what she calls the “perfect storm”, the bankruptcy of her company and a separation, Rosanna did not give up: she chose Turin to start over, moving from freelance work to running an IT company she courageously acquired in 2007.

Today, she coordinates a team of over twenty people with a vision where power gives way to listening and the “arrogance of culture”. Described as a “surfer of freak waves”, Rosanna teaches us that we cannot choose the challenges that life throws at us, but we can learn to ride them. Her secret? To take care of even what does not belong to her own “square centimetre”, learning to “look a little further”.

This story is at the heart of Job Digital Lab, the programme created by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale and ING Italia to promote conscious, responsible and deeply human digital technology. In an era marked by the evolution of artificial intelligence, testimonials such as this remind us of the importance of putting people back at the centre and asking the right questions.

We invite you to read Rosanna's full story and be inspired by her journey.

Rosanna is the protagonist of the event Entrepreneurship, artificial intelligence and the need to ask the right questions, which will be held in Turin on 11 March 2026.
