The second appointment of the digital workshop held by Paolo Scoppola will be held today at the Phyrtual Innovation Gym Game Lab. From 9:30 am to 1:30 pm, students will be involved in a key activity: start their first, true work under the guidance of the artist [see news: Digital Workshop].
Fiammetta Castagnini, who coordinates the project activities, will also provide her special competences as a sound engineer. After an introduction to the project objectives, the Capena Art Forum and the relation between Würth and art, the students will be divided into groups to work on images for the particle system and the installation background. Fiammetta will work with the artist on the central themes of artistic work and provide her expertise on the production of interactive “sound design” by using Würth tools and microphones.
The final lab hour will be dedicated to the creative process, to a debate on the relationship between art and technology, logic and intuition, reflection and emotion.
The activities of the digital workshop are part of Project +WE Würth Experience by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale and Würth Italia, a leader in the distribution of products and systems for fixing and mounting building elements, and are based on the widespread art production labs held for the media art multi-event.
