“I am extremely happy to have met and participated, as ambassadress, in Project “Smart for Europe.” I firmly believe that it has provided added value by providing a generational and professional exchange during the meetings.”

Mariagiovanna, who is both a student and a volunteer, has found the time to participate in educational and digital animation sessions organised by Smart for Europe, acquiring a new understanding of the importance of correct information. “As we habitually use the Internet and digital tools, it may seem strange, but it is not so for those who are just discovering the Internet.”

“The project trained me and allowed me to provide preliminary information to certain categories of participants, answer questions and curiosities on the digital world, and especially to raise a bridge that brings different realities closer together, under a single more aware, solid and simple lens.”

Today, at 18.30, Project Smart for Europe  will present final certifications to participants at the Europe Direct Centre in Reggio Calabria.

The digital ambassadors will meet to share their educational experiences and exchange ideas and initiatives on how to continue “educating to information” in their local communities on topics such as digital transformation and European issues.

Participants include Giuggi Palmenta, Sports, Gender and Youth Policy Councillor, Europe Direct, City of Reggio Calabria; Marialucia Malara, Director, Europe Direct Centre, Reggio Calabria, and Giulia Melissari, local coordinator, Fondazione Mondo Digitale.
