The over-sixties in Ascoli are the first to complete the Grandparents on the Internet at the Post Office course promoted by Poste Italiane in post offices in six Italian cities: Ascoli, Asti, Mantua, Naples, Palermo and Rome

This afternoon, the elder students in Ascoli will attend the fifteenth and last lesson that will conclude their digital literacy course for absolute beginners addressing computers and Internet use.

The elders were coached by tutors from the IIS Enrico Fermi School directed by Headmaster Patrizia Palanca. The course activities were coordinated by Professors Donatella Talamonti and Rossella Ciccanti.

Interviewed by Cecilia Stajano at the beginning of the course, Patrizia Palanca explained why she chose to join Grandparents on the Internet at the Post Office
