The “Prodigy” Drone, inspired by Leonardo’s sketches, will be presented at the Maker Faire (Rome, 3-5 October 2014). The announcement was made on Twitter by AirMovie lab, the research and development lab on aerial filming supported by airborne devices and radio-controlled electric multi-rotors.
The staff of the Roman start-up has assessed the feasibility of completing its project in the Fab Lab at the Rome Phyrtual Innovation Gym.
Prodigy is a multi-rotor drone with an innovative structure in terms of safety, ease-of-use and low environmental impact. The main chassis is built in wood and makes the drone uniquely ethical and ecological.
