Eight Schools for Social Media Week

For the second day of the Web Festival, the stand at the Piazza Colonna Galleria Alberto Sordi was manned by students from six Roman schools: three in the morning (Gasmann, Seneca e Mamiani) and three in the afternoon (Socrate, Tacito e Anco Marzio).

At the Via Piave Café Friends, students from the Newton and F. D’Assisi schools manned the stand.

In total, 80 tutors, were accompanied by more than 30 digital grandparents, all of whom have become experts thanks to the digital literacy project for elders Grandparents on the Internet. The didactic efficacy of the intergenerational learning model was assured by the presence of 11 coordinating teachers from the various schools.
 â€¨
Cecilia Stajano and Ana Lain, who coordinate the project activities for the Fondazione Mondo Digitale, were on site to monitor the work of elders and students.  Two stands will be active on Wednesday February 9 [10-12 am / 3-5 pm]: at the Galleria Sordi (Espressamente illy) and in Via della Scrofa, 60 (Café Friends).

Yesterday, the stand of the Digital Angels received the visits of Senator Mariapia Garavaglia, MP Paolo Gentiloni (in the photo) and television host Michele Mirabella.
