E-learning with DisAbuse

The DisAbuse Course, developed by European Project DisAbuse: Disablist Bullying - Experience into Change, Providing the Right Support Services, is now avaialable on the Elisa Platform for all teachers who wish to learn more (even through distance learning) about how to prevent and contrast prejudice-based bullying.

Following the ratification of Bill N. 71/2017 and the publication of the Guidelines for Orientation, Prevention and Contrast of Cyberbullying, the Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research (MIUR) has committed to develop a national training plan for teachers to contrast bullying and cyberbullying. Project ELISA (formazione in e-learning degli insegnanti sulle strategie antibullismo) was developed through a collaobration between MIUR – General Directorate for Students and the Department of Education, Language, Interculture, Literature and Psychology at the University of Florence.

The Elisa Platform provides schools and teachers with tools to efficiently address bullying and cyberbullying. In particular, two specific free actions are available for participants: distance learning and monitoring.

The project is implemented as part of the Erasmus+ Programme by the Anti-bullying Centre at the University of Dublin (Ireland), Fondazione Mondo Digitale (Italy), Institute of Art & Design Technology (Ireland), University of Lisbon (Portugal) and University of Murcia (Spain).
