Our journey to discover social innovation projects developed by school students throughout Italy reaches IIS Pacinotti in Pontedera, today, in the Province of Pisa
Students and teachers have been working on Project MILVA an acronym that summarizes the project’s main elements: trades, education, work and added values. The objective is to create a strategic tool that will promote job matchmaking via a careful management of acquired skills. Thus, the students speak about a “double speed” … but it’s not time to reveal the projects’ contents yet.
Ana Lain (School Innovation Manager) investigates the project climate and student involvement. Here’s how Prof. Maria Chiara Soldani, who runs the fashion tech lab, describes the atmosphere:
