Academies are an integral part of Ambizione Italia #DigitalRestart. They are training courses providing certifications for Microsoft solutions that the tech giant operates with its partners throughout Italy. The objective of the so-called academies is to update and requalify professionals with digital skills, as well as provide digital skills to recent high school and university graduates. In particular, the Experis Academy aims to train specific profiles in the ICT sector through funded courses on digital trends, such as cybersecurity and cloud computing.
Microsoft Italia, Experis and the Fondazione Mondo Digitale have joined together to develop a new programme to help new graduates and fragile talent – talented students who for specific reasons, economic or social, do not pursue their studies – with digital training, even following the selection process with preparatory courses.
“Today, education plays a fundamental role in the working world. With the Experis Academy, we have activated free courses over the past years for ca. 1000 talented and unemployed young men and women, every year. This has led to the development of important educational projects for job insertion in IT and other digital sectors with a 60% successful placement rate,” explains Giovanni Rossi, Operation Manager, Experis Academy, at the Skilling Day.
This new collaboration developed as part of Ambizione Italia for Youth, has already led to the candidature of two young women - Elena Cerbara and Serena Moretto - who are participating in the Experis Academy for "Cloud Platform Engineers" that began on March 22.
Before being selected, the two young women participated in a three-session orientation course for a total of four and a half hours of training. In the interviews, Elena and Serena speak about what they expect to address during the 200 hours of their academy course.
