Students, artists and Würth personnel are at work in the W.ARTLAB, a digital workshop where a collaborative work will be developed for the Media Art Festival 2019 and the Art Forum Würth in Capena. The activities organised for the digital workshop are part of Project +WE Würth Experience and are based on the artistic production model for the multi-event dedicated to media art.
Multimedia artist Paolo Scoppola is working on two project modules: W.ARTLAB and MIXED MEDIA ART. In the first, W.ARTLAB, 17 students from the Liceo artistico Caravillani in Rome are reworking Boll, one of the Roman artist’s best known installations. The students will use the devices available at the Phyrtual Innovation Gym to design and develop the work and Würth products for the exhibition. The second module is an original interpretation of the “artist in residence” in which Paolo Scoppola will work at the digital labs of the Phyrtual Innovation Gym and at the Würth plant in Capena to develop a media art installation interpreting the digital transformation of industry 4.0.
