Antonio, a retired typographer, is an enthusiast photographer, who with the help of Miriam and Sara, started working on photo editing during the first lesson.
A member of the “Nino Manfredi” Elderly Centre, Antonio is one of the 12 over-60s participating in Project "Going Digital" coordinated by Prof. Francesco Laurenti at the Computer Lab of the Rome Liceo Francesco D'Assisi, one of the first schools to adopt the intergenerational learning model to promote the digital literacy of adults.
The Liceo D'Assisisi, directed by Luigi Maria Ingrosso, has also welcomed elders from the Petroselli Elderly Centre and the coordinator of Rome’s 5th District, Umberto De Felice, all of whom are tutored by 12 students at the school acting as digital coaches.
