For Alfonso Molina, Professor of Technology Strategy at the University of Edinburgh and Scientific director of the Fondazione Mondo Digitale, the Phyrtual Innovation Gym is a strategic model for the development of education as it is an environment in which to experiment Life Education (knowledge, competences and values). It is an environment for practicing open innovation and designing change based on the principles of social innovation to face the crucial challenges of the 21st century, starting from the issue of youth unemployment.
These issues will be analysed with the concrete model of the Phyrtual Innovation Gym, conceived and developed by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale at the Rome Città Educativa, in a workshop dedicated to "Youth Enterprise and Digital Manufacturing." The seminar will be opened by Alfonso Molina. The appointment is for Friday, October 3 at 10 am at the Rome Maker Fairein the Parco della Musica. Craftsmen, makers and artists will also provide practical demos.
