Following the encouraging results of the first edition [see news: How School is Changing], the Fondazione Mondo Digitale – with the support of Google – is kicking off the second phase of Project Computer Science First.

Between May and December 2019, 500 primary and first-degree secondary school teachers will be trained in 5 Italian Regions: Lazio, Campania, Sicily, Veneto and Piedmont.

Teacher will have the opportunity to learn how to code with Scratch and use it as a teaching tool.

The sessions will be held at schools between May and December. In October, the CSF League will be held to promote the best projects developed during the courses.

Registration for the sessions is open from today. Just complete this form.

The Fondazione Mondo Digitale presents the initial results achieved with the "Computer Science First", the free Google platform that helps teachers to quickly acquire digital competences and integrate their didactic activities with more efficient methodologies.
