People Power: a day at Italgas for a group of students
Raffaella, 24, has no doubts about her professional future: “An experience with Italgas? It means starting out on the right foot!” Claudia, 22, was won over by the friendly atmosphere: “I think it’s a beautiful example of collaborative work in a positive environment. It’s a company with many years of experience that looks to the future, and I believe that this is an added value in any work environment.”
The university students who participated in the orientation day for the Talent Tour with Italgas were all positively surprised by their day at the Rome offices of Italgas [see news: Digital Sustainability for Development]. “I met beautiful people who shared their contacts with me. And I understood the challenges that await us,” explains enthusiastic future engineer Jithin. “I understood that Italgas is a far more complex and interesting reality than I thought,” confesses Livia, who is studying to be an innovation manager. “These events are very useful to really get to know companies,” confirms Edoardo, a student at LUISS University. Mahesh, a computer scientist, believes it was “an excellent experience to understand technology and development strategy.”
“It was really interesting to see how a company addresses digitalisation and sustainability,” adds Davide. “We had the opportunity to exchange ideas with very high-level managers.”
The students also appreciated the session format and the possibility to network and share ideas, experiences, and points of view. Team-building sessions held by Cecilia Stajano alternated with individual meetings with Italgas professionals. “I was able to see and experience this company,” points out Sahar, 30, who loved the experiential dimension of the day. “It was a formidable event,” claims Saied, 33, from Iran, and the eldest student.
