The educational tour of Coding Girls, promoted by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale and the American Diplomatic Mission in Italy in collaboration with Microsoft, arrives in Naples [see news Coding Girls on Tour].
The tour, which started in Milan last Monday, is now in Naples and after the hackathon on Saturday that will end three days of coding will travel to Rome.
Tomorrow, Friday, November 18, IIS G. Ferraris in Scampia will host an original all-female intergenerational debate on coding, problem solving and e-leadership to programme local social innovation. Participants include Shawn Baxter, Consul for Press and Culture and the United States Consulate General in Naples; Mirta Michilli, Director General, Fondazione Mondo Digitale, and Emily Thomforde, Code Educator and Science Technology Engineering Art and Mathematics (STEAM) Specialist.
