The educational marathon of Programme Coding Girls, promoted by Fondazione Mondo Digitale and the American Embassy in Italy in collaboration with Microsoft,  begins its Roman leg, today. The tour, which began on November 14, will stop in Milan, Naples and Rome and organize a hackathon in each city.

 

The Roman leg of the marathon begins at the Liceo scientifico Giuseppe Peano in Monterotondo. The school, which is managed by Headmaster Roberta Moncado, is a strategic node in the National Network of Phyrtual Innovation Gyms, thanks to the commitment of Professors z Alessandra Ceroni (Digital Coach) and Anna Rita Petrillo (School-Work Programme Coordinator).

 

The school Coding Girls, after attending the Summer School, continued to practice with Coaches Manuela Benedetti and Lara Forgione. On November 16, they began training other students at their school. Now, they will assist American Coach Emily Thomforde in next Wednesday’s coding session and hackathon.

 

In the afternoon, the relay will double with two parallel sessions at the Liceo Volterra in Ciampino and at IIS Darwin in Rome.
